The 2nd Annual Scope It Out 5K Run/Walk Detroit, presented by Chris4Life

Join the Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation in the Metro Detroit Area for The 2nd Annual Scope It Out 5K Run/Walk Detroit. Last years race was a huge success and we know this race will be even bigger thank to all of you. This race course, Willow Metropark is set in the middle of 1,531 beautiful acres of mature woodlands, scenic 17-acre Washago Pond and the picturesque Huron River. The race course starts and ends at the parks Activity Center. The location makes this race fun for all ages as the park is also home to hiking trails, bike trails, playground equipment, a golf course, fishing ponds, tennis courts, softball diamonds, and more. Come early for the race and spend the day at the park, all for a great cause.

Please Note:

This is a family friendly event. Metropark Motor Vehicle Entry Permit gives you access to all 13 Huron-Clinton Metroparks. If you don’t already own an individual annual or joint annual park permit, a daily permit can be purchased for $5 per car at the entrance. There are no refunds. To confirm your entry, please check the list of registered runners a week or so before race day. Please pick up your T-shirt on race day, as we cannot mail it to you.

Race Location Details:

The Willow Metropark entrance is accessible off of I-275 at Exit # 11 on S Huron Rd. The event will start at the parks Activity Center and take you along a wooded drive that creates a loop around the center

Packet Pick-up and Late Registration:

Packet pick will be held the day before the race, Friday November 1, 2013 at a loction TBD. You can also pick up your pack on race day Saturday, November 2, 2013 & late registration will be held on race day Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Activity Building in Willow Metro Park from 7:30 to 9:00 AM. We do allow runners to pick up bibs and t-shirts for their friends. Please note that t-shirts cannot be mailed. You will not need to show us your ID or copies of their ID to pick up for them.
